About the Event:

A live panel with 4 PODEROSAS discussing topics that matter to Latinas, DJ playing Latin beats, hear a tribute to Selena's Como La Flor and drinks! Join us for a Sunday session con sazón at "I am Valiente" - an event that celebrates, uplifts, and inspires our vibrant Latin Australian community. Hear words of resilience, and passion from four incredible Latin Australian women, each with a unique and compelling story to tell.

Featuring:

  1. 🎤 Michelle Escobar: Representing her Salvadorian roots, she's a presenter for Optus Sport and has covered the iconic FIFA Women's World Cup.

  2. 🎶 Ana Maria Parada: Not only the founder of Mami Watta Collections but also known to many as DJ Oroana with a strong voice for indigenous Colombian communities.

  3. 🧵 Denisse M Vera: With a Chilean background, this gifted designer has graced events like Coachella and Hollywood movies like Thor with her designs.

  4. 💃 Geo Nascimento: The two-time samba champion, embodying the spirit of Brazil with every dance move and with a powerful story of chasing dreams across the globe.

After the panel, dance to the beats of a Latin Australian DJ J Quinn who's part of the Pan Con Queso mix Show with another surprise performance to be unveiled! And as the sun sets, let's continue the conversations with drinks and photos!
